Registration Open for Sync Up Conference 2011

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Foundation (the guys that put on Jazz Fest) is gearing up for it’s 4th annual Sync Up Conference in April/May 2011.  For those of you who’ve never heard of the Sync Up Conference, it’s an economic development project for musicians, bands, artists, filmmakers and anyone else interested in digital media that happens on each Friday and Saturday during Jazz Fest from 9:00am- Noon.  Each day features a different panel discussion with Q & A at the end and I speak from experience when I tell you they are really good.  I went to each discussion of the 2010 conference (even the ones I didn’t think would be relevant or interesting to me ) and I learned a bunch of really useful stuff.

Unlike many other conferences, this one’s FREE to attend.  However, you do need to register since space is limited.  The 2011 Sync Up Conference will once again be held at the New Orleans Museum of Art on April 29, 30 and May 6, 7 2011  9:00 am – Noon each day.  For more information and to register visit the Jazz and Heritage Fest and Foundation website.  If you haven’t attended yet, I really, really do recommend it.
